Snuffbox "Joséphine"

18-carat gold blue enameled snuffbox, double lid with"Joséphine" inscription. Round dial watch, roman numerals and centered seconds. Lépine caliber with carillon movement . This exceptionnal piece would have been offered to Marie-Josèphe Rose Tascher de la Pagerie, also called "Joséphine", married to Napoléon Bonaparte in 1796.
