Pocket Watch "Couple and sheep"

18-carat gold and enamel, pearl-set striking clock watch. Double body with spleat-pearl set bezels, band and pendant with champlevé and paillonné decoration. Back enamel panel painted with a charming pastoral scene depicting a young shepherd and a maiden with their lamb, in a ladnscape within a blue flinqué enamel frame. Cock pierced and engraved with the 4 initials "H.L.J.D." (Henri-Louis Jaquet-Droz).
