The painted enamel caseback depicts a mythological scene with Hebe and Jupiter’s eagle.
Musical train with 5 wheels and flywheel, sprocket barrel with 5 bells and 5 hammers, carillon with 3 melodies controlled by cams and triggered by a button on the pendant.
Unsigned, attributed to Jaquet-Droz for the Chinese market, circa 1790.
