Pocket watch "The Lover Letter"

18-carat yellow gold and painted oval shape watch, paillons decoration, split pearl-set and diamond-set. Back case orned with a drawing showing a messenger bringing a love letter to Moulin's Maria. Front case with 2 doves perched on a flower vase. Enameled pendant decorated with gold and green floral paillons.
Attributed to Jaquet-Droz, Geneva, made for the Chinese market, circa 1785.
